Experienced 4 & 5 Axis Mill Machinist
2nd Shift (Mon-Thurs 4:15 pm-2:45 am) and Weekend Shift (Fri-Sat-Sun 4:00 am-4:30 pm) Available
Sets up and operates CNC milling machines. Drills to fabricate and repair parts made from metals, plastics and alloys. Experience in aircraft precision machining is highly preferred. Prefer 1-3 years CNC milling machine operation experience and the ability to read aircraft blueprints. Must have excellent shop math and mechanical ability.
Second shift (Mon-Thurs 4:15 pm-2:45 am)
Responsible for assembling airplane parts per customer engineering on time every time with 100% customer satisfaction. Must be able to follow assembly procedures, use a computer and follow directions. Must have math skills and mechanical ability.
Planning and Contract review
Supports the company’s objectives with regards to current manufacturing processes. Develops and documents the sequence of operation plans for manufacturing parts. Revises routers as necessary to support improved processes with an internal goal of improving the production processes and techniques used within the company. Performs contract review process of planning. Verifies current engineering revisions to customer website portals. Requires experience in GD&T, technical specifications, and quality control systems throughout the manufacturing process. Must be able to effectively interpret all forms of customer data/engineering and troubleshoot complex drawings/specifications/needs and make decisions based on these customer requirements. Should have a working knowledge of MS Office as well as a high-level knowledge of engineering software.
Responsible for initiating and generating up front First Article Inspection Reports while working off of the FAI/Source Report. Facilitates customer source inspections. Performs maintenance and implementation of the calibration system. Responsible for facilitating, maintaining and updating the files for the Approved Supplier Program as well as support on the facilitation of the Formal CAR Program. Supports the Quality Management team in performing other duties as assigned.
Performs and coordinates contract administrative activities and provides daily support to individuals, groups or teams. Responsible for acting as a liaison between internal and external customers. Assists with orders, status and other queries while maintaining efficiency and a high level of quality. Expected to possess strong motivation, detail oriented communication skills (both verbal and written), good judgment, sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsible for verifying production and assembly pieces ensuring proper marking, packaging and 100% accurate counting of each order. Must be able to properly read shipping documents, standard works and directions from manufacturers. Expected to be detail orientated with a strong sense of teamwork. Must be open to cross-training.
